Traded Jordon Sweet [Traded to Port Adelaide for #50]

Being stuck behind a very good main ruck is probably the exact reason most of those backup rucks left for greener pastures. I’d love us to get 43 but it’ll probably be a future third.
I'd push for 43 throwing a 70s back but F3 isn't the worst

So none?

Preuss is the only one recently who went for pick 31 but he was contracted and wasn't dominating the 2's like Sweet is a pick in the 40's is more than fair
Actually, having now looked it up, Lynch and Hickey were at the time.

  • Cracks the s**t at a suggested 46 for 71 swap
  • Would cop 43 for 71 swap even though the other pick is highly likely to be tied into a different deal.

Extreme benefit to you since 43 will be unlikely to be on the table.

Nobody else in this thread thinks you're a chance at getting 43 considering it will be tied into one of their other negotiations. Nobody thinks Zerk or Rat will go for 37 by itself. Port will be looking at 3 way trades to facilitate these deals because of their lack of draft assets. This is one that clearly benefits all involved.

Or it benefits the Dons the most hence you are wedded too it

What did the Crows do, everyone seems to want to go to Port.
Racist ex-captain and 'spiritual leader'
Racist pre-season camp
Made player managers nervous after getting burnt in the Tippet brown paper bag fiasco
Haven't played finals for seven years straight
History of not being able to hold on to their star players

Enough there to scare players and their managers

It benefits all three clubs. As I have explained. As everyone except you seem to realise.

Who is everyone?

We don't need to involve you to complete this trade and helping you out isn't our concern nor priority
Everyone who has said you aren't getting 43. Because you won't.

In fact, we could probably get a better deal dealing with Port directly. 37 and 43 for BZT and our 4th isn't a bad deal.

This trade benefits the Dogs. Once you acknowledge that 43 won't be on the table, you'll realise it.

We don’t need Essendon involved in the Sweet Trade future 3rd or 4th Rounder will get it done
The Dogs need picks for Croft don't they? Would've thought 46 would be more use to the Dogs than our future third rounder.

None of BZT, Ratugolea or Sweet get games with us
Sweet maybe. BZT and Ratugolea walk into your shithouse defence (about to get more shithouse when Doedee goes to Brisbane and Murray out all next year) with their eyes closed.

Both Ratugolea and BZT were chased by other clubs and offered long term deals. How many clubs are lining up with long term deals for Mark Keane or James Borlase?

Pick 46 or a future 3rd isn't worth splitting hairs over. Sweet will get to Port for not much and you'll get a bargain, and Sweet gets more AFL opportunity.

I can see us bothering to haggle too much. We can always use future picks to trade back into this year if we find ways to match a FS bid anyway.

Why did the Crows make an offer to BZT then?

Break glass depth.. behind butts, keane and murray.. murray wont be back till middle of the season so if one of butts or keane go down we need a plug and play back up..

butts, keane and murray s**t all over BZT who’s record this year as a defender speaks for itself. Leagues worst!

Thus we probably offered him a pissant little contract..

Hahaha this is “my dad can beat up your dad” tier level reasoning

BZT behind Keane you’re running with that eh?

Not sure how BZT or Ratugolea are worth more than 3rd round picks or a late 2nd in Rats case.

Sweet is going to be the easiest to trade for except if port want to involve other teams in the trade which Power doesn't like doing.

You're absolutely embarrassing yourself here m8, time to log off for a few days. Or years.

If Western Bulldogs want Bonner or Hayes whatever compensation we get for Bonner we'd happily give back for Sweet. Likewise Sweet for Hayes I think should work for both clubs.
