Yep was enormous. Reckon I have said twice this year it's his best game for us which says he is rising. One of his best, if not best, game for us. That mark in defence was a ripper too.
To be fair, English would be higher but the doggies get a lot of free kicks for (them) and against (the opposition) instead of ball ups.
Majority of those guys have also played as the solo ruck with only limited support while ned has had to share ruck duties with meek for a number of games
He's 6th for HTA % of rucks with over 100 hitouts for the year. So very good.Do you have the To Advantage stats ?
Thats the one which really matters.
ThisWas his best ever game on Saturday. He's building, and has more confidence in his body each game. He'll rip the comp apart next year.
Honestly, the only thing standing in between Reeves and being a truly elite ruck is his tank. He tried extremely hard to keep up with English on the weekend, which he did, but there were times where English got on top purely because he was covering the ground just that bit better. He might not get there but this guy has the potential to be a top 3 ruckman in the AFL.
His ceiling is ridiculous, seeing more signs of this every week
Yep and he has a perfect case of a current captain in Gawn to follow. Gawn was a smoker and didn't have much of tank but really worked hard gave up smoking to build itHonestly, the only thing standing in between Reeves and being a truly elite ruck is his tank. If he can work to make that a relative strength, the sky is the limit.
The thing I’ve noted is that his opponents are spending a great deal of energy trying to nullify and negate him, by taking his body and his space, like the Geelong boys did, but he’s still giving us great first use.As well as how well his own stats are going, his opponents generally have down weeks against him. He’s going beautifully at the moment
Top 5 for Hit out to advantage and Hitout win percentage, for the season so far.Third highest rated ruck on the weekend behind Darcy and Marshall. He's creeping up in the ranking stakes!
