Sorry to butt in on your board and no disrespect intended, but just read this guy's been sent to train with Sandy.
What has he done that's deserved this punishment?

I'm not sure but I did hear this story from a pretty well renowned fb page

I saw Ari at a grocery store in Moorabbin yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Sandringham is great, nice oval by the beach, nice club rooms, nice people.
No punishment at all.

If we wanted to punish him, we'd send him here.

Ari has taken to the track with the Zebra guys.
Apparently loving it there.
Often you will see the guys running down Beach Road to the Clocktower, and then back to TBBO.
Arie is up with the best of them and is so dedicated, he is doing extra yards by extending the return route to TBBO through the Front Bar at the Sandringham Hotel.

Not sure what the go is here but Arie as of yesterday afternoon had not attended a single Sandringham training session.

I was speaking with a Sandringham listed player and asked how Arie was going and response was read the article but we haven’t seen him.

I blame Sandringham for scheduling training on Arie's rave party day of the week.

There’s usually a good reason why players slide down the draft order
I'd feel even worse if we signed this type during the Richo/Ratten era, at least now we have the leadership there to end his career quickly.

No doubt Arie will be on a short leash.
Ejection seat at the ready.

I hope he takes the chance he's been given or it will be all over red rover.
Oh yeah for sure, I hope that there's no issues and he ends up realising his potential - would be great for us. Half the time I'm just out here with a bit of bait (ie "end his career quickly") to reel in Dard, who we all know gets butterflies whenever Arie is mentioned - and it worked

Not sure why he hasn’t trained at Sandy yet but he has certainly been doing a lot of running with the rehab group at Moorabbin. Wasn’t he living with the skipper, you would that would keep him on the straight and narrow?

Enough strong leadership at the club now so fwiw I think he makes it and becomes a regular AFL player.

He thought they meant Royal Sandringham and was somewhat surprised to find there were no zebras in the grounds.

Finally worked it out after 10 days so expect to see him back from the UK towards the end of next week 👍🏻
