Anyone heard from Hugo yet?

He’s still learning English.

Watching the footage, the thing I like most about Hugo is his acceleration. You can be the fastest player over 60 metres, but I would take the fastest over 5-10 metres any day. It makes a huge difference, breaking tackles, getting that yard on your opponent, putting pressure on and tackling etc..It is not a common attribute, even at the highest level.

He plays lot taller at that level than I saw in his brief Calder Cannons highlights. Hopefully we have jagged another late diamond.

Believe Wilson played quite a bit forward in his Underage year and had been known for being a goal kicker too

Gee Wiz that’s some highlights package. What’s he bad at? Because I saw it all. Great composure, power, good 1v1, makes good decision, executes, kicks goals, good overhead, high work rate.. I could go on

Although it’s only school football, Garcia looks really quick and dynamic.. has composure and willing to take the player on then burst out of congestion, exactly the type of mid we want.. Really liked him playing on very quickly after taking a mark, an excellent goal kicker too. it’s only 1 video, quite impressed with him for a pick #50.

That passage where he’s just pushing the ball across the ground with his hands, while running at pace, to then clean collect and dispose neatly is a really underrated capability.

It’s what we need more of around the ball, players that can specialise in the loose ground ball get.

Seems to play a lot taller than 185 cm, but definitely looks like he's got the speed and endurance to play hhf, wing and take a centre bounce or two.

The clearance @ 3.08 is sublime. All we need now is a tap ruckman
