Mainly here so we can enjoy the LOLs afterwards at the end of 2023, but also an interesting discussion point.

I’m in genuine two minds and can’t call it, but who do you see finishing higher in 2023?

Who is positioned better from a list/team perspective?

Let the games begin…

Mod Note: This is a thread for BANTER and giving and taking a bit of the mickey. Enter at your own risk!
However this does NOT mean name calling, personal abuse, injury trolling, swearing or gifs/memes with swear words in them. Keep it clean and above the belt.
Thank you.

Being barely inside the eight is just about where you should be?
We started 0-3!
It’s a long road back but 5-1 draw since is pretty good.
My point about Carlton stands though- touted as the most talented group but play like individuals all the time.
Led by look at me Cripps

Look at me Cripps? I would argue that our players are actually a very humble bunch.

I don't think we have many that get oppo supporters all worked up into a hate filled frenzy.

That might hopefully change once we win that flag though.:laughv1:

And spread across the table in brown paper bags. We just put an asterix next to 6 of them. You know, remember " pigs ass"
You tried the buying flags game in the 80's. It failed dismally. It failed so bad that the club even went into financial difficulty as a result of it.

Such a thing would be unthinkable now but it did happen.

That new Magpies consortium that took over Collingwood at the time promised you the world and delivered nothing.

I think they even tried to tamper with the club song as well!:laughv1:

Hush now. We tried to buy players that were s**t and over paid for them. There's a big difference when you try and dodge the cap by paying undisclosed cash

Oh it was all above board. Any allegations about our flags is just mere hearsay and conjecture unless proven otherwise.;)

Pretty amazing to think that if Pies and Fremantle both win and Carlton presumably lose to Sydney, Carlton will be remarkably out of the 8 at the near mid point of the season.

I’ve been more impressed with Collingwood than Carlton this year and expect the former to finish higher after both round 24 and finals.

Yeah must admit the blues are the best at buying flags, brown paper bag specialists!

We're not worthy, coz we've won all of our flags, all 16 of em on merit.
