I’m in genuine two minds and can’t call it, but who do you see finishing higher in 2023?

Who is positioned better from a list/team perspective?

Since the league became professional and expanded outside of the suburban Vic comp where $$ ruled, Carlton have been shown up and have been irrelevant for 20+ years.

They have one year when they finish 5th and win a couple of the also ran style finals (the premiership challengers aren't playing EFs) and their success starved supporters lose their mind.

Imagine Carlton, back when they had some pride in the VFL, being happy with finishing 5th and being belted in a prelim, it would have barely been a pass of a season.
