What a joke this competition is Steve Johnson last year just clipped Kennedy trying to avoid him and gets a week. Probably cost GWS the GF. He should not have been rubbed out. Now the hit on Dangerfield was described by Ling as just hard fierce footy and yet he made contact with his forearm to Dangerfield's head. Did not try to tackle just took him high. Dangerfield was laid out flat. If there is any consistency he SHOULD get a week.

No idea what will happen, likely get off though, it has to be the most obvious offence to get done grand final week and this is questionable at best. it was more the fact that the high contact was not paid a free that annoyed me slightly. Pay the free, slot the goal and we are only four goals down at half time instead of six. Swings and roundabouts though and in the end it wouldn't have made a difference, just weren't good enough.

Danger looked concussed for the rest of the game. The spasm was a conscious one?
If he was, then Geelong must be punished into the stone age. Letting a concussed player back onto the field is utterly negligent and Geelong should he absolutely smashed if this is the case.

So, either, Dangerfield wasn't hurt, or Geelong broke AFL rules and its doctor broke the Hippocratic Oath.

Mate its finals, nothing is more important than finals... not even long term health. Get with the program!

Nothing in it - attempting to smother. Sloane commits to the smothering the handpass and then Danger sees him at the last moment and tries to handball it under him. Contact ends up high-ish.

Actually, saw another angle and now I'm not sure.

So it's his shoulder, not his elbow, but he got him high. So won't be a striking charge, but still could be rough conduct if the AFL is feeling spiteful. Careless, low impact, high contact = $1000 fine, Sloane doesn't miss the granny.

Expected that response. The doctors would have called it based on their assessment. Take whatever action you need to save the world...

Anyway he looked glassy eyed and lost. Saw him take a second or two to react when Sloane ran off him at the start of the third.

Hopefully he doesn't go for that

Normally you get concerned as a supporter I'm not worried one little bit was incidental contact

Will not even be considered

Even the commentators laughed at the fact social media had commented on it

He wasn't concussed unless Geelong breached the AFLs rules by putting a player back on who had concussion and would more likely have a case to answer than Sloane

That's not true.
