D'Ambrossio got injured today and left the ground with his arm in a sling

So you can rule him out most likely for the MSD pool

You don’t think that means he’ll move up our draft board?

Adam Simpson presser: -Sheed/Yeo WAFL time likely to stay there until Rnd 13 bye. -Long term view over quick fix at mid-season draft. -Bulldogs back to form of last year. -Exchanged texts with Roos coach David Noble, both offering support.

When is our bye? And what are the odds we will lose to the bye by 10 goals

Has anyone else thought about the fact that if we could just absolutely nail 2 good picks in the MSD while in last place then in combination with the end of season ND we possibly could have drafted as if we had been down bottom for a couple of years ready to start the upward part of the rebuild next year (even moreso if Chesser, Hough and Winder come good)

FB: Cole Barrass Duggan
HB: Yeo McGov Foley

R: NicNat Wardlaw Florenca
C: Chesser Kelly Culley

HF: Jones Dixon SPS
FF: Ryan Allen Winder

I: BWilliams Hough West Rioli
S: Rotham

E: HEdwards LEdwards Clark Sheed
This is a great point about rebuilding. If you can nail one or two drafts, you're probably set.

On our last major rebuild we did pretty well from 2007 (Trade for Kennedy, masto, Selwood as a role player), pretty well in 2008 (nic Nat and Shuey) and nailed 2010 (Gaff, Darling, Lycett and Gov). 2009 was a total bust (Shep came good but not until 2015, so no help in the short term).

If we can absolutely nail one from last year, this year or next (eg get 3 or 5 best 2022 players with a couple at AA quality), then we should be on our way.

Of course, this only works if you still have senior players to pad out the 22 and help the newbies learn. That's why it would be crazy to trade the following:Darling, Kelly, Yeo, Gov, Barrass, Duggan, Rioli, Ryan

He has finally figured it out! Gives them 3 WAFL games. Don't bring them into AFL until they are playing full game time and crushing it at that level.

Nope. No chance at all.

A = none really.

NicNat doesn't spend more than half a game on the ground
Kelly only wants to be an A grade if he's playing in a top 4 side
Unless Warlord is Chris Judd, he'll be serviceable at best.
McGov might be A grade but you need A graders in the midfield
Rioli is a little fat f*ckola.
Culley has to jump from playing against boysIImen

Bottom 4. Straight to the pool room cellar.

Yep, my concerns were pretty much around Cole being able to play tall like shep could given he's 3cm shorter which I don't recall having seen him do yet.

No concerns around his ability to guard small forwards outside of the frees he gives away from being overeager and running flat nut at someone on the ground only to get the high.
Why do we need cole to play on a tall when we usually go in with 3 kpds regardless of if the opposition have any talls

Salary cap shouldn't be a factor with all these extra players.

Most (if not all) payer contracts have performance bonuses built in. With so many big contract players sitting out large chunks of the game, we'll be saving big on the salary cap.

Troll post that has nothing really to do with my post.

You don't need much to be on the upward part of a rebuild from 18th.

Perfect for us if he lasts until later rounds then.
We want to finish in 17th this year for the draft picks. So would be a great way to get him onto our list but not have him affect our from positively and we'll develop him for next season.
