I actually see it from his perspective, losing any game that we should be wining will potentially end his coaching career.

Make no doubt about it, he is placing his own self interests, that is making the 8 beyond anything else, including the Club, the players and how we perform in September.
He thinks it's in his own self interests... but it really isn't because as will need depth at some stage & will then end up risking it against stronger terms when hand is forced.

Also, he is running some players into the ground & their form suffers as do our results.

Fine by me

Exactly.

Ultimately it will hurt his chances of progressing deep in September, should we make it with player management.

With that said, nothing could be more certain of Nicks getting a contract extension if we make the 8, regardless of how well we do. I actually think the AFC will rubber stamp it before W1 of Finals. Which goes back to what I was stating before, ultimately all Nicks is caring about is making the 8.

If we go out 1st week of the finals, he needs to be given the arse.... but this is AFC who have embraced mediocrity in the Nick's era.

So who are our 3 wingmen this week?

Nicks is so predictable going in full strength at home against the bottom team.

Would hate to give some of our depth some experience & see what they can do... & use as an opportunity to freshen up some players.

So short sighted & poor list management, which is why we will never be successful under Nicks.

So predictable from this idiot.
Bang on. But given the side selected… hopefully Curtin gets a full run on a Wing.

Hilarious. All of those clubs listed have done this for years and are all far more successful than us

Trust me, disrespecting opponents like that will destroy those clubs. Where’s their selection integrity, do they not understand the value of continuity? No hopers, Nix and his crew are laughing at them as we speak.

This week's highlights on the selection post on Facebook:

"Glad to see Tex is playing he can rest when he’s retired "

"How is Zac Taylor still getting a run at it?"

" I think the club know more about Texs fitness than you do."

" even if Texas isn't playing well he takes the best defender. Only needs a sniff to get going"

" drop milera?dumbest thing I've heard all week"

"Tex can kick 5 goals on Sunday easy 👌Go the Crows 🙌🥰"

"Pedlar not performing great in sanfl .milera is playing well it's not all about possessions "

" why would you have to.make a change after a close loss?"

And my favourite, the response to one person saying perhaps more changes would have been good;

"comments like these are why Nicks and co no longer listen to the clubs supporters, and the results have improved ever since. Continue talking to brick walls, maybe someone might stop and listen."

I hope I see some of this 'improvement' soon.

And that would be the more intelligent ones

Glad Pedlar is getting another look

Really has had 12+ months in the wilderness after looking quite promising before that.

Not sure what went wrong for him but hopefully is getting things back on track. Think he adds something different to our team.
