You’re allowed to make contact with other players when you make an attempt to play the football. Bumping is nothing more than a weak man’s physical pressure and is unnecessary when there is always the option to attempt to tackle. Notice how no one gets suspend for trying to tackle in the same situation Pickett bumped?
