They weren't allowed to play well by the Hawks and that is a footy truism that has stood the test of the time.Perhaps the Pies played poorly today.

Well that’s a turn up. Pies looked flat and tired again. Need to regroup and get reset for finals.
#rentfreeHang on i thought rent free only applied to when you wanted to use it??
The only rent free living is us in your own deluded mind and your posting history on here shows your true intentions and agenda on here which no one can hide!
Beat portHas Collingwood won since they told everyone they are the best team? Lol
It won't, they're probably doing the hard work in training at the moment and will be up and about for finals, finishing 1st or 2nd.No they don't. No one wants that. Let's hope this flat, tired run continues long into next season
Nick Daicos has been found out, we knew he hated the contested side of things, but he also cannot handle a tag.
If you're getting a hard tag, you can always tackle and block for others, even lay a few bumps, he is scared to do any of that.
Keep going.
Lol- I’ll take the pies over the blues any day thanks! No they don't. No one wants that. Let's hope this flat, tired run continues long into next season
Out in straight sets
I listened to SEN radio, commentators were really good.Huddo sounding like he's at a funeral when he said N Daicos only had five disposals
Hawthorn have been superb. Really impressed at how on the front foot they've been and Mitchell has to be commended here.
Agree hes earned a lot of slack, but I think that’s 3 in a row (Port, Carlton, Hawthorn) who have cut Daicos out of the influence he’s been having roaming free. That’s like saying a young forward who is leading the Coleman has been found out after having a dirty night against a lockdown defender.
I’ll hold my fire on that issue for a few games at least
I reckon that’s a pretty good formline without our best player/ best forward. (edit: compared to the rest of the top 4 anyway)Dees haven't been all that themselves. 32pt win over a declining Richmond side, not bad I guess; 1pt win over a choked Brisbane after being behind most the game; barely got over the line against Adelaide who are usually crap away from home; 21pt win over a St Kilda side with no fit players on the bench; 2pt loss to the Giants but granted they're in red hot form and that was in the NT. The Dees will be facing a real good test against the Blues next week.
Cool thanks. My question was genuine, not having a digWe've not played like this for much of the year, particularly for 4 quarters.
The "gutted" midfield took a bit to gel, and it's looking good for the future.
I'm much saltier about the reaction to the Murphy tunnelling incident than the result.
Seemingly everyone, including the umpires, forget that's a rule for very good reason, because it's dangerous as sh*t. And then called Murphy a 'sook'.
Larkey even got suspended for doing it last year, let alone it being a free kick, you half-wit campaigners.
ISEEWHATYOUDIDTHERE.....well done hawks. schooled last week and learned their lesson well.
I forgot about Oliver being out. Fair enough but I still think the Pies will resurge and get to the GF. If it's not against my mob I hope it's against the Dees, would be a good spectacle. Not sure about Port and still don't think Carlton's going deep into September.I reckon that’s a pretty good formline without our best player/ best forward. (edit: compared to the rest of the top 4 anyway)
Agree the Blues will be a huge challenge.
