Can't afford to pay him out as money will go into next years FD expenditure. Taking out $1.2 million from that will leave precious little to hire another coach.

Justified though. Evidence today of a team rebuilding in the same period as us but were smart about how they did it. Never heard the dogs complain once about the GWS/GC draft concessions, just got on with their job and developed those they brought in. We don't do that, our first round selections in Hardwicks tenure all want out or are years away from anything.
