but now the fair draw means them sucking last year has not benefited them
Really - you just lost games V the Crows, Freo, Saints and Suns.It literally changes nothing.
Really - you just lost games V the Crows, Freo, Saints and Suns.
The loss of the spoon favs in the Suns changes things. You lost games V 18th, 17th, 16th & 12th in the flag betting.
End of the day the chances of the season completing is slim so if they revert back to the 2019 ladder this is a massive win for the Roo's.
The corona silver lining.
If the junior comps don’t go ahead then the recruitment teams will have a job in front of them getting their projections right. This is going to be the worst year to have a top pick
One may rise - not all 4. The herald sun has the Tigers as the big winners and the Dees the big losers from the adjusted fixture.Except nobody knows how the likes of St Kilda, Adelaide, Freo and Gold Coast will fare.
I also highly doubt that they'll simply revert to the 2019 ladder for the draft order, they'd be more likely to go to a lottery system.
Really? Can you please explain? This is going to be the worst year to have a top pick
No junior comps or state league comps until at least 31 of May at this stage, kids aren’t going to get the exposure. If the leagues don’t come back this year it’s going to be hard to split the talent. Plenty of top players will slide, there will be players who don’t get a chance at there break out year and never get picked up.Really? Can you please explain?
The recruiters have a very good idea who the best players heading into 2020 are. It’s not like when they run out in round 1 it will be the 1st time they ever saw these kids. Rowell was 1 18 months before he went 1. There are threads on here listing the best talent in 2020. Cal Twomey’s article today says your wrong. This is going to be the worst year to have a top pick
Of course every year they know which players are expected to go up high, but every year during draft week there is still deliberation. I remember years ago people before the season people were talking about Jack Fitzpatrick being possibly a pick 1, he ended up going 48 or something. The recruiters have a very good idea who the best players heading into 2020 are. It’s not the 1980s.
Ooo Cam Twomey’s article lolCal Twomey’s article today says your wrong.
Recruiters know who most of the top kids are already.
It’s the next tier down that is the big question. The second and third round.
Clubs absolutely have projections and the very top end should be Somewhat accurate. But if we see little to no junior footy this year I’d be thinking first round picks aren’t as valuable. The recruiters have a very good idea who the best players heading into 2020 are. Never saw any media linking Worpol to the number 1 pick.Funnily enough, AFL media and recruiters had Worpel going at 1 this time of year he slid considerably then on his form to date shows he should have gone much higher.

I’m happy to take a bet that he won’t be number 1Phillips.

of course further down will be harder, players will miss out on getting drafted.
Would help if you looked at the right year.Never saw any media linking Worpol to the number 1 pick.

It will be the worst year to have a top pick. If you can’t watch the top players perform how can you then determine who exactly ranks higher than others?Mate, you said it would be the worse year to have a top pick. Your words.
I pointed out, using Twomey’s article as evidence, that recruiters believe your wrong.
Now in true big footy fashion, you’re trying to move the discussion.
