The free kick count favored us by only 20-15 which is perfectly understandable given how much we dominated general play and tackles, and how they often played the man. Note to norf supporters: If you play dirty you will probably lose the free kick count, so stop making lame excuses and own your loss

Shout out to Aaron Francis as well. His poise last couple of weeks at crucial times has been terrific. That mark and pass to Tippa in the last as well. If he had started the game on Zurhaar and not on the bench, Zurhaar would not have kicked those first two goals. Shut him down when he came on.

I don’t think we win that game without that performance from Zac Clarke. Relative to ability and what probably should have happened he gave Goldy an absolute touch up and made sure their mids had no chance of getting on a roll.

They’ve had absolute and complete buy in and commitment from all 22 for about 6 weeks now and they didn’t have that yesterday, and there’s quite clearly not enough talent there yet for them to have even a couple of passengers.

Yes we pulled it out of the fire in the end, but the game was on our terms the vast majority of the 4 quarters
