oo really so hes a complete full time small forward now?
how did he look on the weekend? is the expectation 30+ goals
If Scott leaves Gaz permanently forward my expectation is that Gaz will average 2 goals a game so that amounts to 40 odd over a season.

wow that would be awesome! lets hope your midfeild can carry the load and allows the little champ to do so

Let's hope so! Scott needs to hold his nerve and leave Gaz forward IMO. Our main mids should be Danger, Selwood, Duncan, Kelly and Parfitt this season. I expect Parfitt to have a break out year.

FB - Stewart - Blicavs - O’Connor
HB - Clark - Taylor - Henry
C - Parfitt - Duncan - Kelly
HF - Dahlhaus - Big Sav - Atkins
FF - G Ablett - Hawkins - Rohan
R - Stanley - Dangerfield - J Selwood
I - Narkle - Guthrie - Menegola - Constable
E - Kolodjashnij - Henderson - Miers - S Selwood
Inj - Tuohy - Bews - Fogarty - Cockatoo

This is the team I'd play.
I definitely think they'll go in with 1 of Henderson or Kolodjashnij though.

How much do you want for tickets and where are the seats? Thanks

Hi l totally didn't see this post.

Both sets of tickets are at opposite side of the ground.

First set of tix are in the riverbank stand row M level 5. They are $81 a ticket thats what l paid for them.

The other set are in the non alcohol section row Q which is near the the hill but in there is bunch of seat there they are $46 a ticket.

I would rather sell tickets together.

Hope this info helps
Sorry for the late reply.

Could we see someone kick 100 again?I reckon we see a 90,Riewolt Kennedy and Franklin all in the frame.

I think its possible if someone can take enough marks close to goal.. cause Id find it difficult to see a forward get the same amount of shots GA use to have when he scored 100.. 200 shots at goal is astounding really. Franklin was the last to it and he had just on 200 as well..

That's a bullseye Hood007 - that's putting our best foot forward from the JLT.
Sav to relief Ruck allowing an extra runner , defence well balanced with only the 2 key talls and a pacy skilled forwardline :thumbsu:

Almost a perfect team if you swap Guthrie for Miers. And I'd swap Hawkins and Rat and play Hawkins deep when Rat goes into the ruck.

I do think they won't have the guts to leave Henderson, Scooter and Kolodjashnij out.

That would be an unbelievable return.

If we get 20 goals out of Ablett it's a pass. He's not the same player, and much older than when his father moved to forward full time.

He kicked 16 last year basically playing on ball ... so playing the forwardline will only benefit us by a small amount ? He needs a couple of games where he kicks a bag to garner respect and worry opponents... if he has only kicked 10 goals by mid year I wonder if they will persist.

I think only a small amount yes, if at all. He's not the same player. He's lost pace and can barely mark overhead. He's not going to get crap midfielders minding him, he'll have specialist defenders. It's the same reason why Dangerfield isn't going to effortlessly kick 50-60 goals as a permanent forward. Defenders are much better than we give them credit for.

Ablett snr kicked 122 goals as a 34 year old.

I think Sammy might be playing a bit more midfield time this year, now that there are more actual forwards in the squad.

Do like his goalkicking, though.
I like Menegola playing at half forward. He's an excellent mark for a midfield type and can kick goals.

Didn't realise he was that close, well I did but didn't realise the consequences.
Who would ever have thought we'd have 3 times as many small forwards as we'd need?

We always need more small forwards because so many of them are usually injured.

Yea...he was too old as well......had back complaints and dicky knees....wasn't the player he used to be......

Writing off champion players is a dangerous game indeed....

He's got the lot imo, l think they should be developing him to elite level he's such a gifted individual.
Reckon he's capable of 30 even with extra midfield duties.

If mediums don't get injured so much maybe we should draft more of them.

I don’t think marking GAJ as a pass for 20 goals is writing him off. It’s fairly realistic given the way the game is played. I’d give him 25 max with the 6-6-6 structure but hard to see him kicking more. Will be thoroughly pumped if he kicks more..

This is injury free as well.

To be fair, he will be competing with Hawk and Sav as well.
