Last years corresponding fixture was a disgrace, fingers crossed the boys come to play.

I'm starting to think though that our payments to them have become burdensome and that that money could be better spent on other things. Seems like a waste of money for this game anyway.

throw in a bitcoin or two? :joycat:

i flew up for that game last year, on the ground there was no talk, no effort and no f's given, it was an abomination, not to mention the absolute s-fight it was getting up there & back in the midst of freshly post-covid flight cancelations

i really hope they atone tonight

Where do you expect Caleb Daniel to line up tonight?

Can’t really believe we’re underdogs here given Sydney’s form this year and their injury list

Says more about the Dogs than the Swans

You know what you will get from Swans regardless of personnel

We have no idea what you will get from the Dogs

Yep, one of the joys of being a Doggies supporter, you never know which team will turn up.

Should win this by 5 goals plus

Sydney's injury list? They're missing 2 genuine best 22 players (Lloyd & Warner) and one guy that might never play again. Sheldrick is probably a 3rd best 22 player.

They have a significantly better % than ours. On their home ground, this is a 50/50 game at best.

The % factor is due to the 170 point win vs Eagles. Take that out and they are less than 100, worse than us.

Their home ground is a bit of a non-factor this year too. They are 3 from 8, only beating WCE, Hawthorn and Carlton and losing to the likes of Freo, StKilda and GWS.

They are bog average this year.

This is a should win for us. No excuses.

Who do they have that can take the game away from us? These days Buddy is good for one quarter in 20, Heeny is a very good player, Papley hit and miss and Warner is not there.
We should win this easily, their home ground or not. We have the better players, multiple options up forward and a midfield superior to theirs. We lose this, it’s a disaster.

The Main concern is Gulden running through the midfield like Daicos did last week.
