I bet everyone had forgotten that Kevin Martin even existed.

Well console yourselves in the knowledge that he announced his retirement in a newspaper ad this week, in the Zanesville Times Recorder (being a Zanesville local... i had to look that up lol)

As for the week ahead, we have a few decent games coming up

Houston at Portland (Monday)
OKC at New York (Tues)
Houston at Utah (Wed)
Memphis at Raps (Thur)
and the biggy opf the week, Clips at Cavs (Friday)
Cleveland then head to Chitown on the back to back (Sat)
Atlanta then head to Toronto in an Eastern Conference powerhouse matchup (Sunday)

Happened last time they played too.

Although, as good as Devin Booker is, is he in danger of becoming a Wiggins?

The knock on Wiggins has always been he scores and doesnt do much else, yet he's pulling down 4 boards and getting 2 assists a game. Still not great tho.

Booker is 18.8ppg/2.3apg/2.7rpg. It would be nice to know what the projected assist and hockey assist rates were, whether its more of a knock on who he plays with or his passing in general. You'd like to see him around the 5 assist mark

Those numbers are eerily similar to someone who just announced his retirement btw..... ;)

Its a bit of both.
Theyre a poor team and he's the pure scorer.

Give me Booker over Mudiay all day every day.

Mudiay is can't shoot and is a turnover merchant, the fact he's starting in Denver is an indictment on the Nuggets.

In the last 5 games hes had 6 turnovers for 25 assists, which isnt too bad.

His shooting is a worry though.

FWIW in that same 5 game stretch Booker has had 14 turnovers for 9 assists.

Booker averages 32 minutes for less than 2 assists a game.
