Autopsy Wayne Carey: "Jack > Buddy"

So many tears..

Riewoldt is better than Hawkins. Hawkins is about on the Travis Cloke level

Riewoldt is about as cream over cake as Caddy and is completely useless unless his side is up by 4 or more goals :$

Hawkins however wins games and Grand finals off his own back

Hawkins is one of the more overrated forwards of this era, does absolutely nothing apart from give dumb free kicks away, how Cat fans can even compare him to Riewoldt is laughable.

He's ok, good for a bag or two against mediocre sides but rarely does it when it matters. After his huge performance against us in 2011 I expected him to take off and become one of the best players in the league. Has never happened & he's 30 next year so that ship has sailed.

Hawkins: 1x AA 0 Colemans
Riewoldt: 2x AA 2 Colemans

Jack >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hawkins
Hawkins is the least versatile key forward possible and is crap

haha Jack beats him in pretty much every category, Geelong have had much better teams as well.

Played more games. One year Buddy kicked 3.555555 average, Jack kicked 3.545454 average. So that was close.
You are correct, Buddy did miss a handful of games in one of Riewoldts Coleman years, Riewoldt isn't better then Buddy, nobody can ever argue that, but Riewoldt has been a star in what he's been able to achieve given the teams he's played over his career.

The argument from Wayne Carey was he thought Jack was better this year than Buddy, not overall.
And its actually not that crazy considering how important Jacks role was this year. Bringing ball to ground and tackling created so many opportunities that the rest of the forward line required to function.

His other argument was that Buddy kicked 19 more goals in 1 more game played, but a bag of 10 and 8 against Brisbane and Carlton heavily inflated that.

And he is way better than Hawkins. But really, Im not sure too many would seek to argue that.

remember when campbell brown said waite was better than buddy? what'll these meatheads think of next!

c brown isnt wayne carey thou

Franklin played 17 games and 16 games (opposed to Jack's 22) in 2010 and 2012

why was bud unavailable ?

another factor as to why jack is superior is he rarely gets injuries/ related issues

was he depressed?

And yet despite those injuries, he manages to be a less effective forward than Franklin for 8/10 seasons

As for whether Franklin was depressed, I have no idea. Maybe? Maybe not? Maybe Jack was. I don't see how it's remotely relevant

Once Richmond stopped going to Jack as their #1 option they won the flag.

And * he's a FIGJAM. Lucky his cousin is who he is.

Wayne Carey is a coke snorting, woman beating idiot.

& maybe best player ever after Rance

also, a key forward so maybe this thoughts are valid
