Google maps says it takes 7 minutes longer to get to this site from Hawthorn than it takes to get to Waverley. Google Maps also says it takes 10 minutes less time to get to the new site from Brighton than it takes to get to Waverley. Don't see this as an issue for the players

We both fought for the '71 flag, we beat them to it

We both called VFL Park 'home' for a few yrs, but Saints chose to move on.

Yep, reclaimed land on top of an old tip right next to the current tip. Funnily enough there was an article in the Herald Sun last week saying that the EPA were monitoring the air quality in that immediate vicinity.
