The 20?Newcombe just 2 votes off the 20 in coaches votes
Top 20 in league for the AFLCA voting. The 20?
Top 20 in league for the AFLCA voting.
AKA. The only part of the leaderboard they publish each week.
The publish the week by week votes on the AFLCA and AFL websites (AFLCA will be easier to find in one spot). You'd need to go through and tally manually to find anyone outside the top 20.Was looking around for a league wide count, is there one published anywhere?
Otherwise it's a do your own math and wait for Monday proposition. No idea why they wouldn't publish a full league list that was searchable by team.
What annoys me is there's nothing stopping them from having a full list. The publish the week by week votes on the AFLCA and AFL websites (AFLCA will be easier to find in one spot). You'd need to go through and tally manually to find anyone outside the top 20.
I too would like to see the whole leaderboard available. As well as being able to see which coach voted for which players. It would give greater insight into which players are doing their role as instructed and who coaches think were the biggest issue for them (when they vote for opposition players).

Great to see the young blokes at the top. Newcombe, Moore, Lewis, CJ. Love it.Quite interesting to see how coaches (ours and opposition) rate our players this season:
16James Sicily (HAW) 48 24Jai Newcombe (HAW) 44 58Dylan Moore (HAW) 28 66Jack Gunston (HAW) 26 67Mitch Lewis (HAW) 26 116Changkuoth Jiath (HAW) 16 137Tom Mitchell (HAW) 15 144Blake Hardwick (HAW) 13 182Jaeger O'Meara (HAW) 10 200Jack Scrimshaw (HAW) 8 203Luke Breust (HAW) 8 212Finn Maginness (HAW) 7 234Josh Ward (HAW) 6 321Ned Reeves (HAW) 1 329Will Day (HAW) 1
Obviously Sicily and Newcombe have been excellent and are the ones rated as elite by our and opposition coaches this year. Moore very good but probably Gunston/Lewis next in line given each have missed plenty of games. They'd be top 50 if they had not. CJ also missed a lot of footy.
The low votes for the likes of Mitchell and O'Meara who have played nearly all games says a lot also.
11 of those 15 will still be at Hawthorn in 6-7 years time.Quite interesting to see how coaches (ours and opposition) rate our players this season:

And the bottom three, Ward, Reeves, and Day can all join them at the top.Great to see the young blokes at the top. Newcombe, Moore, Lewis, CJ. Love it.
Yeah but the main issue is that we have no youthGreat to see the young blokes at the top. Newcombe, Moore, Lewis, CJ. Love it.
He'd be behind Brayshaw, Walsh, and Bailey Smith you'd think.Starting 18 for sure.

Rekon he has had a better year than Walsh. Walsh has been solid without being great like last year. He also has alot more support than Newk. Imagine how good Newk will be when we get quality depth in our midfield and we bat deep. Need Worps to turn it around next year to go along with Ward and McDonald emerging. He'd be behind Brayshaw, Walsh, and Bailey Smith you'd think.
