I wouldnt think so. Unless he has Marshalls bravery. If my Mrs was terminally ill I'd struggle to do anything outside of my family circle.
But who knows.

I've found doing the things you normally do are the best distraction and a great coping mechanism. When you can.

Kick and giggle trial game or not that was typical hinkley crap, ie start ok and for a qtr or so look a class above the oppo, even dominating for long periods but continually f*** around with the pill resulting in little to no score board pressure while allowing them to score against the general trend of play and stay within touch.

We have seen it all before, and all that changes is the date on the calendar!

Saw the game live west coast will be much improved and will go close to winning half their games this year but don't think they will make finals. They pretty much threw in the towel after round 5 or 6 last year.
Ports structure looked ok but skills and decision making by some players need to improve but it's still only Feb. I'm more positive on ports chances and think they will settle well once the season starts and see them finishing top 6. I'm thinking sides like the bulldogs, sydney, freo and maybe even Collingwood could fall out of the 8 from last year so opportunity is there for port and a couple of others
Jhf will win a brownlow one day.

My post was in reference to the game itself not Boak's injury, no point judging how a season will go based off one preseason game.
