Just once in your life mate, put the negativity and snide comments away and enjoy this match! How did this mug get to Number 1
I feel like Pliskova beat Safarova 7-6 7-5 in the time this 3rd set has taken.

Hamish and basil. Channel 7 have incredibly low standards for their commentary. How does Hamish still have a job
Again, I've no idea, though, why you appear to take everything so personally on a fairly relaxed, often light-hearted forum where there's incessant criticism of just about everybody and everything. (That's the nature of this place, in case you haven't realised.) You seemed to take the same approach toward me last night, and to others.
Is 18-16 the record highest score in the womens?Cant see this beating Kuznetsova and Schiavone from 5 or so years ago.
think that went for 4 hours and 18-16 IIRC. surely someone will crack before then.....surely?????
Edit: holy crap. just looked at that match again and it went for 4:44 hrs and 16-14 (47 games total)
just looked. 48 games.Quality match. Scores may end up breaking a record!?

Only round 3 :O plenty of classic matches to come in next week or so!
