Giants by a few goals.
GWS are playing better footy, but it's very much a 50/50 game.
Loser of this is effectively knocked out of finals contention, but even the winner will have an uphill battle that relies on other results not going as expected.

If GWS lose, they need every other result to go their way and would still need Pies to beat Dons by 30+ and GWS to beat Blues by 30+ to jump Dons on the ladder by percentage.

If Dons lose, they need every other result to go their way, then need Blues to beat GWS in the last game to sneak into 8th with a slightly better percentage than GWS.

The winner also isn't guaranteed finals.
If GWS win and the other games go as expected, they can only get in by beating Blues in the last game, and that's only if Blues lose this week to GC.

If Dons win and all other games go as expected, it's likely they might still miss finals on percentage, even with an upset win over the Pies in the last round.

Type of game Essendon have to draw a line in the sand and finally take that next step forward, but you just know they won't.

GWS by 3 goals.
Toby 6 goals in a masterful display.

You'd (or I'd) like to think they'd be committed. A loss where they have a crack is acceptable, they're pretty tired from the outside looking in.
But a loss where they turn it up like they did against the cats wouldn't be pretty.

Toby might tear us a new one...

Toby Greene surrounded by five Bombers, wins anyway. What a player he is.
