That's one possible interpretation. Not the way I would read the tea leaves.

Doesn't matter. Players need to be held accountable for poor performances.

I’m kind of in the zero ****s given for this game. Season was pretty much shot to pieces last week. Even if we win here’s our draw:
Freo away. 50/50. Win.
Hawks away. 50/50. Loss.
WC home. 30/70 right now. Loss.
Tigers away. 10/90. Loss.
Cats home. 50/50. Win.
Lions away. 80/20 win. Win.
Melbourne home. 40/60. Loss.
Showdown. 50/50. Win.
GWS away. 40/60. Loss.
North home. 70/30. Win.
Carlton away. Win.
6 wins for 13 in total. Probably enough for 7th/8th.
We need our players back quick to turn the Hawks, Melbourne, GWS games into wins and a top 4 spot.
Well Hamptons card must be stamped. Cant even get named in the squad after that debacle
That stuff tastes like cat shit. Quite tasty.Maybe Kopi Luwak is more your style![]()

We've got plenty of players who could play as well as the guys did last week.To have players go out, you need to have replacements ready to come in. We got nada.
They interviewed some reporter on 5aa and he was glowing about Sloane, Smith, Knight and Walker. Did a heap of running (he said Sloane "almost ran two marathons..."), they ran at a good clip including some backwards and sideways stuff. Sloane, Knight and Walker also did some kicking together. He did say that Sloane was wearing sneakers though (but not in the pool).I saw some promising signs from Smith today, he did the majority of training along with everyone else. Though I was a bit disappointed to see Sloane and Knight running on the boundary for most of the session.
We've been down this road before. Effort is a non-negotiable. You're telling a bloke "You may be more talented then who I'm replacing you with, but he's going to bust his guts out and that's what I want to see from you every week if you want to keep your spot"Who is there to select from?
Hopefully we've got the message that it's more important to get guys fully fit than to rush them back to limp around and "play a role."
I could be wrong, but I'm doubtful that we'll see Sloane before the bye, same with Knight. Walker looked alright but I don't recall seeing him participate in any of the larger drills that involved most of the players, just minor stuff in one of the pockets. Smith was moving well and was involved in one of the drills where they were practicing moving the ball from end to end. They interviewed some reporter on 5aa and he was glowing about Sloane, Smith, Knight and Walker. Imo, you are likely to be correct, as the club has been burnt playing all 3 before they were ready & it has cost us with longer term injuries.I could be wrong, but I'm doubtful that we'll see Sloane before the bye, same with Knight. The uncompetitive, no show, games are spaced far enough apart to stay in the rear view mirror.Roo was on the radio, “we won 5/6 prior to this game, you don’t drop someone after one bad game, if it happens 2-3 weeks in a row then....”
Wow, that's both factually incorrect and total blinkers thinking.Roo was on the radio, “we won 5/6 prior to this game, you don’t drop someone after one bad game, if it happens 2-3 weeks in a row then....”
