That was fugly.

The first quarter flattered us and our bad set shots flattered them in the end. Backs or mids not really to blame for lapses today - they fed the forwards adequately. Chokes in front of goal from forwards was the issue. This has cost us numerous wins this year.

Hinge in elite form. Michalanney solid again. Borlase very solid. Fog building while Tex performing is really good. Crouch winning it and dishing it to players with skills is good.

Thilthorpe great aerially and off the deck but horrible set shots.

It's not too hard to move from 15th-18 to 9th-12th (the draft typically takes care of that). But we've still got significant work to do to make finals next year. Talent and hope won't do it on its own. Mentally pretty soft. It takes good coaching in this area.

Fog looking like he’s well over his slump

Keane and Borlase (18 touches?!?!) with admirable jobs on King and Casboult, given their experience

Crouch very important in the middle, works well with Daws

Jones injury unfortunate, but means Cook can come back in

Thilthorpe looked like he hurt his ankle late into the game, which might be lucky for him cause he had some shocking moments and 'Berg is on fire in the SANFL so can see that swap being made

Hinge is great, he's really stood up since Smith got moved to the win the last few weeks. Borlase and Keane both made some inexperienced errors, but that's to be expected and you'll play through those moments for what the rest of their games can provide. Keane in particular has a really aggressive streak to his game that sometimes gets him in trouble, but he'll learn to know when he should and shouldn't use that.

Fog had sticky hands which is great to see since had some fumbles at times this year.

McAdam was very quiet for most of the game, but got more involved in the 4th when we got some more open play coming his way.

Some sloppy football and didn't look as good as against Port last week, but glad we got the win. Some great plays and stand outs, loved the intercept by Keane in the dying seconds. Very contested game and an insane number of tackles!

Didn't have to do a whole lot to win that game. Even managed to kick 7 behinds in a row with little impact to our chances.

That's what happens when you basically win the game half way through the first quarter.

Can't imagine too many will be watching the replay
I'll watch a replay. I had to do running around for our daughter, Dad duties. Will probably just watch mini game. Saw 4th quarter.

Had to rely on radio, but want to see Borlase in action.

so... on the basis of hearsay and Q4

Good: Hinge really rising to the level, Fog really strong. Borlase slotting straight in and knowing the system reflects really well on the backline and development coaches.

Bad: 7 Behinds

Ugly: Umpires. Need to be consistent and make better calls. Powell's injury.... Hate to see players go down with ACL.

Good:

Borlase good on debut. Keane good.
Hinge good overall. Tex and Fog had their moments. Crouch again massive.

Bad:

Yeah Hinge is frustrating because for all of his good he makes some really dumb decisions sometimes.

Ugly:

Not sure our defence can stand up to Brisbane at home. We love playing spuds into form and they don't get much spuddier than Daniher.

Hinge has been awesome since the bye, wow he is becoming a player

FOG, back to his best and could still go close to a 59 goal season, he will be awesome when he puts it together for a full season

Our young backline strode up, Keane, Borlase, Max, Worrell all have less than 25 games for the club. Keane could be sensational after another pre-season
