The Bombers are more than happy to part with Daniher, it's just a big show for the supporters.
The Swans have actually walked away from discussions & left the Bombers to do all the media talking through their Trade Radio Cheer Squad mouthpiece, Matthew Lloyd, who is barracking hard for his in turmoil club not to give him up easily.
Lloyds Trade Radio side kick, Damian Parrot, is the other biggest critic of the Swans regarding what we should give up & how it's on us to come up with a deal to get Daniher.......YET...................they are both cheering on the Saints for not using their pick 6 to get the Hill deal done. Hill is a bloke who has been a dominant player in the AFL for the last few years & is contracted for a lot longer than Daniher , who has only managed to play 11 games in two years.

The bias is mind boggling but hey, the good mates club's word is gospel.

And the biggest problem is it misleads their fans and backs Dodoro in to a corner. He can’t possibly accept anything less than 5+9+player considering how much they’ve rubbished that as being unders
Pffff, like they can’t sell a story to there members, most of them still think Hird was unjustly done by and there was never a positive test- they did nothing wrong 😂
They are master at selling a bullshit story which the members lap up

Regardless, Sydney are currently offering 5 + 25.

The only way Daniher gets to Sydney is if Sydney blink and up their offer. Otherwise, he’ll be an Essendon player next year.
Huh ?
Who told you that ?
An Essendon fan that played FF for Essendon ?

You blokes are funny.

So 5 and 9 is now the new "brilliant work Dons" ?

If we offer 5 and 9, a roving pack of Dons would chase us up the hall and out the back door for immediate signatures. Along with a "pretty please with sugar on top".

You guys need to come to grips with why your club isnt trying to get Joe to stay.
I assume you realise that making it difficult to leave is not the same thing.

Why make things up?

The former All-Australian is unhappy with Essendon’s medical staff and the way they have dealt with his ongoing groin problems, the report adds.

Anthony Daniher when questioned before Joe said he wanted us, also said that Joe wouldn't leave. Oops! That changed quickly.

You guys keep believing everything that is being blurted out by the fan boys in the media.
The Swans have been extremely silent through all this & are just dealing with reality. That is that both Essendon & Joe Daniher are more than happy to part ways.

I would walk if I was Sydney

Too much risk to take a player that may only play 5 games this year

No genius, why make up that all the Daniher's are angry with Essendon?

Why are most of Sydney supporters are so unhinged?

dodo is clearly living rent free in sydneys mental space.

We're in a rebuild so we'd be better off walking and doing all this in 12 months. That leaves Joe in a pinch but he won't be the first or last player to be stranded after a trade request. Trade Papley, take 5 and 9 to the draft and it'll be Essendon's loss.

Are you saying the Danihers (Joe's clan) are happy but just touched base with the Swans in case there was an opportunity to play for them in the future?
Do you think every player that leaves every club has a hatred towards their old club?

Does Tony Lockett hate Saints?
Does Barry Hall hate Saints?
Does Buddy Franklin hate Hawks?

Most Sydney fans don't seem to want Daniher. Overpriced and risky. There'll be no tears from our side if it falls through.
I imagine chasing players in the future would need further assurances.

It's not great talking a player to break his contract then reneg on the deal to get them across.

Doesn't mean you're committed to getting bent over either.
