Really? Well that's pretty pathetic, considering so many of the predictions were made months and weeks ago and depended so much on how the AFC dealt their cards.

So many on here are craving inside info- thrive on the fact that they might be first to hear something- then criticise the source. That's a pretty good way to destroy both that source and many others who will now be too afraid to speak up about a rumour they heard at the club.

Re Dangerfield coming to Geelong- it happened. How it happened is pretty insignificant in the big scheme of things.

Both clubs did well out of it considering the circumstances. This is the start of a new ere with free agency. At leaset the Crows and Geelog are still respected at the trade table unlike clubs like the Bombers.

What an absolute coup for the Catters - PD in our lineup is a game changer
Apart from his prodigious talent he brings so much more to the table

The loss of picks and Gore will soon be forgotten.
We also need to look at this Trade Period at the conclusion and weigh up all the deals and inclusions - we will also have addressed the lack of players in the 24-28 age bracket if we bring in Selwood , Henderson and Smith as well as PD - giving us a much better balanced list
