Watching the replay, Hinge wins the ball in contest so well. Want to see him rotated in middle with Dawson, Peatling and Co.

Bring in Edwards to replace Hinge at HB and move Max to HB with Bond brought in to replace his shut down role.

Walker cost us more than we gain from his few goals. Teams set up play and run of him. He gives very little aerially and can't keep the ball in the 50. Time for him to go and say to Curtain....the position is yours ...demand the ball, crash packs and keep the ball locked in. He's quicker, 4cm taller and can tackle and mark above his head.

Good post, has been a problem all year but supporters only see what they want to see. Give him a few weeks off.

One of the best games I have seen Hinge play. I have been a bit critical of him at times but he was unreal.

He should but there is no chance Mileara gets dropped for our Doug Nicholls home game.

As much as I don't think Sholl's a player who will stand up in pressure games (too soft), he's probably the best genuine winger we have (maybe Dowling). In the very least if him and Dowling play, it would allow Nank and Cumming to play in their natural position at HB where they can utilise their strengths. They're both being played out of position and their form is suffering as a consequence.

Drop Milera and rotate Nank/Cumming with Hinge on the other flank. That won't happen though, because it was clear that after selecting Milera in round 1, that the coaches see him as lock for the 22 and will only be forced out through injury.

People said the same thing last year after we narrowly lost to Collingwood and West Coast got a good home win against Melbourne. There were talks that we would get rolled, but we won by 99 points.

At least if we do somehow lose, there'll be finally some external pressure on Nicks.

I definitely remember some scrutiny after that loss, which we did nothing about. I know we have Nicks until the end of the season, but more pressure would be nice.

I said before the game it was important for Cumming to get more involved.
Everything he touches turns to gold but we is only touching it 14 times a game this year.

He was a liability from round 3 until he got dropped this year , non competitive

He’s had some good form over prev years though

If we can get him right, and we take our time in doing so, he'll be fine. But there is absolutely no need to rush it.

Was at the game Sat (sigh), when Hinge came off late in final quarter he was limping slightly, on the boundary line he was pointing to top of left hammy. Doesn't seem to be any mention of it anywhere?

Not sure it's been raised on here, but why not give Draper the same kind of HB role both Daicos and Sheezel were given in their first years? Surely Milera or Nank can currently be dropped based on form. Nank with a whopping 72m gained........................................


I just feel like there's enough experience back there at the moment, particularly with Hinge and Laird, that we can take the risk.
