We could win 6-7 games and still finish bottom 4. Crows last year had 8.5 wins and finished bottom 4. Dees had 11 wins and had a top 5 pick.

Needs a solid month as a pure mid in the VFL. Even then he's not going to have the fitness to do it at AFL. He's definitely a mid not a small forward

i didn’t expect to win that going into that but i did expect to win with being 28 points up. yze is actually clueless.

We should’ve beaten North, we could’ve beaten Ess, we should’ve won last night.
That would’ve been 6 wins after everyone saying wouldnt win a game.

Prestia , Nank and Lynch provide us with immeasurable structure.
Prestia alone creates a point of difference within the midfield . As he is able to break away from stoppages something Hopper , Taranto , Dow McAuliffe don’t excel in. It’s an area of our squad that needs to continually be developed and not ignored.
Witiin our 3 premierships years , Prestia , Cotchin and Lambert were critical in providing that burst from clearance .

It’s hard to be disappointed with that. They’re a better side than us, and that will show when the season ends. My personal view just became too tired in the end. I was disappointed with the goal kicking, but that will improve. Shows they are playing for yze so hope the criticism stops.

A win would have put us in with a chance of vying for 12th on the ladder next week .( pick 7 in the draft ) narrow loss and we remain a realistic chance of a top 3 pick .
Yes winning is important and should be the priority but for a side in year 1 of a rebuild who still has its early picks it’s not the end of the world .
Fact is our chances of long term success increases by the lower we and Norf finish on the ladder this year .

Honestly I didn't mind the loss. We showed a lot, and I'm always thinking of the draft picks in a year like this. They can't yet run out games or play four quarters, but that will come in time and I'm not too critical of that aspect yet. Inaccuracy was probably the most costly thing yesterday.

Anyway regarding Sydney, our best could easily beat them so it just depends which version of this developing side turns up week to week.

It's kind of wild watching Prestia pretty much washed up running around as our best mid, when we were good prime Prestia was a 3rd banana. What a time to be alive that was.
