I thought the second replay they showed may have showed a gap, but it's hard to tell. There was a noise though.

Wow, didn't think that was sufficient evidence to overturn the decision. The slow motion camera was horrible, but there was a good noise at the right time.
If they can't get Hot Spot, Ultra-Motion is a must for efficient DRS.

I must have missed that replay as I didn't see a replay where he missed it by a mile. I thought there might not have been enough evidence to overturn it.

Yeah maybe it wasn't as clear as I made it sound. I guess there could be an argument that it wasn't conclusive enough to overturn but as soon as I saw the replay I thought he missed it, and by a good few inches.
No idea why snicko and hotspot aren't used in every match.
