I hope he is not reading the thread.

That would definitely be frowned upon by the coaches, and if doing so on his phone in the middle of the game, I expect it would be a breach of AFL rules.

Best: Sullivan, Richard’s, HH, SOF (after I bagged him).

Def lacked a target to kick to.

Allan faded a bit. Was good early.

Bytel still can’t recall him playing

Leggy and Johnson. Mmmm
Bytel does stuff all

Begg was Good but AJ was Useless

In AFL, Harrison gets used. Maybe it’s time for Harrison to come in? Wing?

he and Richards were the clear stand outs today, Harrison will play within the next month if he continues that form
wouldn't bring him against Hawthorn, want to see 2-3 weeks of that kind of football from him unless injury opens up a spot for him
would be good as a sub perhaps
liked Allans first half, but unsighted in the 2nd

Plenty of good signs there:
Sully, HH & Joey all productive & putting their hands up.
TJ could be a terrific player.
Beggy held up pretty well again in Steene's absence.
(Ed Allan needs to work hard on his left foot kicking).

Only saw the second half.
HH looks an absolute clear class above this level.
So does Sullivan in the middle.

Dean looks to struggle at this level with the same things we saw him stuggle with at AFL. Just leave him here for a good block of games. Confidence looks shot.
That last play summed him up for mine. 2v1 and the best user is free and you ignore it (twice) and then try and hit a laser….that handball should be given every single time. Basic stuff.

Yeah, Charlie clearly needs a block of games to get back to playing more naturally.
At least he's out there this year.

Oleg has some form searching to do. No knock on him but not his best.

Sullivan - ten clearances is AFL standard. Deserves a chance. Would be seriously challenging the veterans and if Pendles is out, get him in.

Richards - good pre-season has paid off. Like the attitude.

HH - bolted into the conversation for selection.

Might I add Kai Lohmann played. I can think of another blonde lad who hasn’t had a run for a while that could have been out there.
