5th T20I New Zealand v Australia @ Eden Park 5pm AEDT

Eden Park isn't much of a rugby ground either. It can hold just shy of 50,000 but it's poorly designed. New Zealand's history there creates an aura for the ground but it's not much of a rugby venue.

Eden Park is a legendary ground for NZ, it's where we won 2 WCs (24 years apart from our first and second), dominated world rugby for more than 2 decades and where we finally broke our run of WC Semi Finals in 2015. It's where we've seen classics/historic games, today is no different. We may have been on the wrong end, but this is the T20 version of the 434 game.

Mate. Nobody in Australia cares about rugby union.

This is a beast of a line up Aussies have. All the batsmen are match winners. If Starc and NCN/Cummins joins the bowling unit, they will be unbeatable.

Yep, it seems like the selectors have finally seen the light and have started picking T20 specialists.

I reckon batting wise, it's the strongest side available.
The top 6 can all be match winners and Carey and Agar can both bat as well.

Starc for Richardson and maybe a spot for Cummins and that will be our best side IMO.
Mitch Marsh and Stoinis are like for like.

I hope the selectors tap Smith on the shoulder and tell him to concentrate on test cricket.

I think that's been an outdated criticism for a few years now.

It's good to see Australia finally picking their best batsmen for 20/20 cricket, as funny as it sounds I wouldn't have Steve Smith in the side going forward.

Agree, in all honesty apart from Starc and probably Cummins this is our strongest T20 side.
