Yeah. If his back is cooked of course. But if it’s right then it’s worth another year

I'd agree...too good a player (when right to play) to not have on the list, and definitely beneficial to us when in form. That said other factors like him not being given games when fit to play also have to be factored in. I think since Ratts has taken the helm Snake has been on the outer...much to the bemusement of many of us on this forum. It seems the coaches want a lighter, smaller & more mobile set up. Personally think we need another big body in there that can keep their feet (looking at you Doogs...that dude trips over A LOT) and is able to bend down to pick up a ball and swivel (which is now the big issue regarding Carlisle)

Net year teams are alotted 44 players which include rookies etc and we currently have 44
A few teams have a couple extra , the Suns have a extra 6 players which was a agreement with the AFL

If we only keep Ryder, and say Hannas (due to his contract), from the group below our average age would drop significantly.

They will keep Hanners. I rekon Gears gets 1 more year as well.

Dunstan will (rightly) test the market. So will Lonie.

We need to load up on mids.

Fiorini breaking out right now which sucks. Have wanted him and though he would be basically free this year!

I don't mind a back six of Paton, Howard, Webster, Coffield, Wilkie & Highmore. Sinc & Hill dropping back off the wing ala Caleb Daniel for the run and kicking skills. It's a really solid unit, even more so if our mids are on top.

If we feel like we need another forward then Josh Battle is right there. ****ed if I know why we don't just stick him in a give him a month to have a crack at it.

My guess would be the stress fractures in his foot

character is an issue but would be the ultimate cheap depth. Same vein as Frawley, you hope to not use him but if Dougs ever goes down he'd be a fitting replacement. Plenty of skill and experience

surly we look to port who have an abundance of talls
Lienert 26, out of contract
195cm

not getting a game
Laid and Doogs connections get him to us..?

So I am coming around to maybe letting Billings go for a Band 2.

We save 600k or whatever he is on and maybe can entice a Taranto type.

We are going to have plenty of cap.
Welcome aboard

You’ve given up on Heeney then? 😉

Im on board too. Would rather just get off this roller coaster of unfulfilled potential.

Welcome gents. Make yourselves comfortable, the waiter will be bye to take your drinks order shortly.
Smoke'm if you've got'm.

Can somebody with an elite mind tell me how we line up with Bing and Ming?
Pretty straight forward. Paul Hunter loses the tap in the centre and opposition rush it forward.

Bing marks it at CHB, handballs to Leo Connolly who hits Ming lace out after he led out from FF.

Ming, who we now know kicks better from 50 metres, kicks the goal.

Rinse and repeat!!!

If you charged admission we could have cleared our debt hahahahaha

I remember getting flamed last off season because...

"Billings makes us better"
Never been against letting Billings go, but expected he would get us band 1.

His form is not up to it. I would not be unhappy if he stayed, he gets slammed because he is not flashy and his output is underrated however he has stagnated at the Saints.
For his career it would be better to make a break and refresh at a new environment.

I dont think we should offer more than we have. If he 600k well we get a Crouch like dp for him.
Que Sera Sera.

At his best he undoubtedly does.

Unfortunately its now been too long since he has done that & it occurs inconsistently at best.

I’m on board too gents, save me a seat.
