Must say the North fans are almost as unbearable as the Bravedogs, sort of enjoyed that they got close but still banked the L for their fans carry on

Thats being touted on social media as the tipping point for the result as we kicked a goal shortly afterwards
Shit umpiring all day. It was blindly obvious from the crowd.A few soft umpiring calls their way in last 5mins gave them more of a sniff than they deserved otherwise
North fans were a bit OTT to be honest, a fair few we didn’t get where should have and the touched ball that was play on was called a mark (which on score review was a behind) its easy to highlight bad calls because as you say they were no good for both teams!Shit umpiring all day. It was blindly obvious from the crowd.
Can you remember what minute roughly

Do north fans ever not sulk when we beat them
Well North are a better version than the ones we've had other close tussles with here at Marvel these last few years.
That was a bad day for us but we are blessed we kicked so straight in the first half as that got us the win.
When I see the same players out there that represented (embarrassed) us in the 2022 & 2024 GFs & some of our ex players, reserve grade & near end of career players, outplaying us, then I will never be filled with optomism that we have sorted out our past GF issues of the past.
We are in no way better than the 2024 team that sat at 13 & 1 after 14 games & losing the 15th game by 1point to the Dockers. We were flying at 13 wins & 1 loss & a percentage of 149%.
Right now we are 8 & 1 & 157%. I'm sorry but I still don't see a capacity to defend opposition momentum & stall it immediately as p'ship ship threats do. Adam Simpson knows it. Ken Hinkley knows it. When plan A gets taken away from us, we try to persist in making plan A work. Before we know it, the opposition put a gap between us & the players lose the ability to stay calm. That component seems much better this year but we still have pretty much the same lot who failed twice out there.
Sorry my fellow Swan supporters. I live in hope more than belief but no Heeney last week & this week & we were done.
Good we didnt waste it and hope when we use the 2nd one we again use it wisely in a game that needs it. Great use of our joker. Our efficiency is what did it we were 15.2 at one point which like only happens 1-2 times a season![]()
Found a few clips of the outrage circling on twitter
Cox is straight up the last 2 weeks
Score board flattered us
We don’t win them games if opposition kicks straight
Far to many in 50
Maybe one day they'll learn you actually have to finish the tackle to get rewarded.....
Defence has looked a beat off the last two weeks with no TMac but thought Rampe and especially Mills stood up today back there. Loved some of Edwards moments in the air, keeping Larkey goalless is a great feather in his cap.
Felt we had too many passengers in that first half. Great to see after half time we get more contributors on board from some role players and not have to necessarily rely on our stars. Heeney and Blakey were great but thought Sheldrick had a productive second half and got involved. Wicks was more composed, Lloyd was hit and miss today but still gave us important run.
Didn't get a heap of hit but whenever Rosas touched the ball it turned into something impactful, continues to be a nice pickup.
Norths pressure was very good but its a credit to us that we neatened up with our disposal and absorbed it well after looking far too rushed and jittery early on.
If Blakey isn't in the back 6 where is he going to play? You dont want Blakey strictly defending tho
