What a quarter from the swans, I thought they were gone at quarter time, hawks were all over them, now the swans are all over the hawks.

Seems that the right of screen is the scoring end, so expect the hawks to come back in the 3rd, and the umps to play a part haha.

Remember who will have the right of screen in the last though. ;)

Looks like rain falling, is this gonna help the Swans given they are killing the Hawks in the contested footy ?
Goodes looks proppy, is he gonna be able to contribute or will they consider subbing him later ?

The instruments sound fine, and Temper Trap are a solid band, but the MCG is just not properly made for vocals. Their sound blokes are shocking and the ground is too echoey.

... according to the umpires, yes, but not according to the TV replay! It was clearly a handball! The Hawks should not even be playing today in a just universe.

In any event, if a Hawks player is tackled and the ball spills, it is INVARIABLY play on. Never is there a htb decision called against a Hawks player for incorrect disposal. Hawks players don't have to handball it away when they are tackled, so why should Tippett?

Even more to the point today, why was it called holding the ball against the Swans after the ball had come out?

If the Hawks win a flag today, never would a team have been more umpire-assisted.

Get over it you pathetic, whinging flog. Adelaide is not playing today because they were not good enough. End of story.

And kudos to Sydney, that was an awesome second quarter and Hawthorn have plenty of work to do.

Even in the replay he didn't touch it. His hand was a mile from the ball.

The HTB the umpire clearly blew the whistle before the ball came out. Gave it long enough, called HTB, ball came out after it. Nothing else to it.
