If his priority is the night-life then good on him.
Should translate well to on field for him.

The Dockers can pay him the money though90% about the money.
5% about playing opportunities.
5% about living in Melbourne.
He wouldn't care if Putin was coach as long as he kept getting paid. You can't blame him or any other player for chasing the money.
It's a pity the salary cap doesn't even the competition up even more.
Nice melt.
Would you pay him 700k odd a season? I know I wouldn'tThe Dockers have the money to keep him in W.A
I think opportunity is the reason he named the Kangaroos
Nah i wouldn't either.Would you pay him 700k odd a season? I know I wouldn't
This is not correct. We were never going to match that offer as he's the 4th defensive tall picked. The Dockers can pay him the money though
It is a lot about the playing opportunity
Yeh but you have no idea. FlogNah i wouldn't either.
I agree the Dockers don't want to match itThis is not correct. We were never going to match that offer as he's the 4th defensive tall picked.
100% the guaranteed component of his North offer is significantly higher than ours.
*The Dockers have the money to overpay and keep him in W.AThe Dockers have the money to keep him in W.A

Melt?Nice melt.
I agree it would be an overpay if the reported 700k offer from the Kangaroos is true*The Dockers have the money to overpay and keep him in W.A
A casinoMelbourne isn't a factor here...
If we matched the offer then he stays in WA
its about the role and money, to suggest its Melbourne is laughable
This may come as a shock but WA also has restaurants, pubs, events, a casino etc
People still think we are living in the stone ages for some reason lol
Not my cuppa tea but Casino's get a lot of traffic, I'm sure the one in Melbourne does tooA casino
Apples and oranges Leo, but that’s a conversation for another day.Not my cuppa tea but Casino's get a lot of traffic, I'm sure the one in Melbourne does too
What is it that you think we are missing out on in Perth?
With all due respect I think it’s very unlikely that we give 2x seconds for him. We just don’t have those picks to give away with other targets (Clark being the main one) that would warrant one of those future seconds. Unfortunately for Freo the fact he’s OOC, doesn’t help. He’s worth two early 2nd picks. AA level defender when played in the right position. I’ll never understand the fascination with our injury prone pair of Cox and Pearce. Cox with the brain fades and Pearce spent a shitload of his career taped together. Logue had some early injuries but is far more robust. Doesn’t get rag dolled like the other two. Cox slightly better intercept mark and kick but Logue far better athlete, better versatility, better one on one body work. A huge bargain for the roo’s.
I’d hope we get both the priority pick and the future 2nd. That would be my minimum.
There is no guarantee the roo’s are bottom next year. They’ve greatly underperformed. Have a great spine with McKay, Logue, Goldstein, Zurhaar, Larkey. The midfield is building, add in Cunnington, Davies-Uniacke, Horne-Francis, pick 1, Tarryn Thomas. They will be no push over. I’m thinking 6-12th territory.
Couple of pick 30s for Logue is a joke.

I also think it’s unlikely we see a sharp bounce out of the bottom 4, we’ve won 9 games in 3 years.
Why are you playing an AA level defender in the forward line? If you get both 2nd rounders for him then you have done very well. He’s worth two early 2nd picks. North's team is a lot better than they played this year especially with acquisitions like Logue that fill key needs. They may not move up the ladder much as I think a few of the lower teams will improve (except GWS) but they will at least double their wins. With all due respect I think it’s very unlikely that we give 2x seconds for him. I tend to agree about the players ready to pop. There’s heaps of players ready to pop at North. Not dissimilar to Freo last year age wise. I would be blown away if they remain bottom.
They just need a decent coach. There’s heaps of players ready to pop at North.
