i just edited in Moores name, we need another leader forward so its good that Lewis is vocal.Moore, Morrison and Lewis have clear leadership potential.
All three are quite vocal during training and game day, regarding set ups and plays.

If you didn’t know the Hawks players and attended training over summer you’d think they were co-captains.i just edited in Moores name, we need another leader forward so its good that Lewis is vocal.
I honestly think Moore will be the next captain after SisMoore, Morrison and Lewis have clear leadership potential.

Well that needs to change asap. They coach him and Worpel to go the fend off.
I know worpel is in a form slump at the second. But i believe he can be a leader in time, just needs to sort out his form slump.
Does anyone know what the trigger is on the 3rd year of his deal?Agree. Would have thought 2 years with a trigger for a third was excellent list management
I'm just as disappointed / frustrated with Worpel's form slump as any Hawk fan but it's important to remember that we don't know what is going on in these guys personal lives. The players are human just like us and could be going through any number of things that has contributed to where he is now. The most important thing he can do now is put his head down and start playing good footy wether that be at BH on the training track or in the 1s.It's 95% above the shoulders with Worps. He just needs to learn how to make good decisions and execute under pressure.
And it must be a real conundrum for Sam, as that can't be learnt in the twos.
Guessing he's either hit it already or isn't even close....can't think of many other reasons to explain his absenceDoes anyone know what the trigger is on the 3rd year of his deal?
SEN had a great example with Finlayson and what was going on with him earlier in the year.I'm just as disappointed / frustrated with Worpel's form slump as any Hawk fan but it's important to remember that we don't know what is going on in these guys personal lives. Yep. UFAs only.Thing is, we're in no position to be dishing out top 10 picks for players right now.
We can put down cash for free agents, as long as we keep our high end picks.
Hopper is injured otherwise he is a lock for bulk midfield minutes at GWS.We're an exciting young team with a good young coach.
If I'm a midfielder at another club who isn't getting enough midfield minutes, then the Hawks are an appealing option.
Thinking guys like Hopper at GWS. Plenty of others.

They are still going to want at least one first for him.An article came out yesterday suggesting GWS can only keep one of him and Taranto due to salary cap pressure. If Hopper stays on ice for the rest of the season it may soften his value a touch and we could get him for cheap considering his talent.

Are you sure Taranto is not worth our first, particularly if we finish close to the 8?They want our first. It's a hard no.
That was Tom Browne Tom Browne so very very generous to call it an articleAn article came out yesterday suggesting GWS can only keep one of him and Taranto due to salary cap pressure.
