A game at any level under Goldie and next to Cunners has to be good for the kid.

The club see Goater as a defender at this stage, which I personally think is not his best role. I think he’s a natural winger and that we are wasting him in defence because we need the leg speed.

That said, leg speed is definitely a major need down back. Plus with his size and athletic profile he could develop a pretty handy intercept game. We also have some promising wingers that are developing nicely. Our defence is a complete and utter clown show. We desperately need speed, class and quality ball use down there.

Yes I think it is this as well. Other clubs have had 20-25k crowd games and kept all of L3 open.

Yeah I don't know the reason, just speculating the broadcast might want one side really full for crowd shots but it could be a cost cut.
