When the news came through we’d welded our future to him, who didn’t think we’d be in exactly this position 2.5 years on?
I’m reluctant to assume the bozo brigade didn’t, because they seem perfectly fine with it.
I didn't

In other news grass is green. The fact that whatever that nsw journo that ran with he is gone then shitted on Hinkley the week after says to me that he(more accurately his manager) was using GC and the media to drive up his value
I loved the Scarlett Monastery.
Oz lost by 1 goal to both the Poms at 2018 Gold Coast Comm Games and to NZ in the 2019 World Champs in England.Lisa (?) Alexander gets sacked as coach of the Diamonds by Netball Australia, apparently initiated by a one goal loss to NZ (according to media).
She expressed her disappointment but acknowledged that successful performance is the key issue to continuity as coach.
Netball acknowledged her esteemed coaching career, but indicated it was time for change.
Hmmm.

The problem is that finishing 10th is an acceptable result to Koch and the board. We are flat lining at 10th and our CEO is excited about our trajectory. An interesting moment on Sunrise this morning. When asked to comment on the sacking of Australian netball Coach Lisa Alexander David Koch replied, 'Results, all about results'.
Are we to assume that this philosophy will apply to the Power Coach at the end of the season? ...
Try his seemingly cynical comment about 100 percent support for the coach where we’ve all heard it before. As I stated in another post, if the PAFC board comes out supporting the coach, you can’t believe them.An interesting moment on Sunrise this morning. I got the impression that Mark Berreta, who asked the question, had a hidden agenda and was was putting the Port Chairman on the spot re the Port Coach's future.

Building to a premiership doesn't imply that we will be a contender any time soon. Playing the youf is just laying the foundation, topping out won't happen for another decade by which time the architect, the financier and the original contractor will all be a distant memory.Ken just said in his presser that this list is building to a premiership. Does the guy not learn??? The clubs gone all out on their 'silent' strategy this pre-season, then along comes Ken promising supporters excitement and premiership contention with this list.
Far out.
We are not even remotely close to a contender. Our midfield is barely middle range and our forward line a mess.
Why sell hope we can't possibly hope to live up to.
We so desperately need a clean out of the coach to trigger new hope and enthusiasm and it can't happen fast enough.

Clearly doesn't know the first thing about sports.
She should have just explained that someone's got to lose.
There was a tweet by Swamp at end of 2018 about how many time Port have finished 9th or 10th. Can't find it so did this listBeing the undisputed world champions of finishing 10th (5 times in the last 11 years) is certainly something to be proud of.
