Agreed. we seem to ahve this fascination with shedding weight off every player.

Miles is never going to make it at his current weight. Why not add five kegs to him, see if his body can handle it and if it makes him a better footballer.
Ellis should give you the answer to that.

Some players just can't put on muscle/weight easily. And you don't want to put on weight for the sake of weight, especially if it hinders an aspect of their game that is crucial (usually running capacity/agility).

JOR out of contract at the end of year?

Surely finished if he can’t even make 2 AFL games in a row?

And in other unsurprising news, Timmy O back in the lineup.

Surprised about whitex, maybe we wanted bigger body?
Last time against the Lions we played all the kids and got smashed.
Whitey the only fit hardened body that could come in and play small.
We've got Mirra and Schoey as talls we could bring in or a bunch of kids
If Langers was ready he probably would have come in ahead of Swiss but he isn't

IN: Glimpses
OUT: Glimpse

“Glimpses do you seem to see of that mortally intolerable truth; that all deep, earnest thinking is but the intrepid effort of the soul to keep the open independence of her sea; while the wildest winds of heaven and earth conspire to cast her on the treacherous, slavish shore?"

Feel really bad for O'Rourke, this was his chance to get a run of games and now a bloody abductor injury.

Hope it's nothing serious and he gets one last chance to prove his worth or else it's curtains unfortunately

In regards to Jonathan it is just the case that some players don't have the genetic makeup to withstand the rigours of AFL whereas others can play 200 games straight without missing a beat.

Not a slight on the lad, just bad luck really.

Big game for Timmy, he wasn't terrible last time he played so hopefully he can keep the upward trajectory (hopefully).
