Horrible quarter, players standing flat footed to receive the ball via handball yet when you look at the giants, they receive the ball mid run and just stream away. So frustrating to watch.

I know we are learning a new game plan, or as some may say our first ever game Plan, but we have a long way to go based of that quarter

Their off the ball positioning and general game smarts is tenfold more than ours and their extra work rate really exposes some of our players

Went from borderline AA squad player to getting cooked by a decoy forward. Not sure what we are supposed to do about our backline. It's in a lot of trouble

Ainsworth,berry, dmac, holman, Humphrey have 0 tackles between them!!! Thought it was all about having pressure forwards. Bring Ace on and tell him there's a spot there next week if he wants it.

Not going to blow up over a practice game, but it feels like some players are 2nd guessing their positioning. Heaps of times GWS swarm the contest and take the ball away while we only have 1 or 2 at the contest, where last year we probably had too many at the coal face.

This is starting to feel like we could have a rough start to the year while we get our heads around this system. Lukosius has been good and Mac has had a couple of moments and Berry has been alright, but not much else to write home about.

Our midfield is just so much worse than the the sum of its parts. Doesn’t help that we have 2 slow wingers on the outside ready to blind hack the sh*t out of the ball around the corner.
