Let's not have a repeat of the whole China game circus. No one will ever care about Australian rules overseas, the only people who will go will be expats.
The Chinese didn't care about footy and the only people at the ground in Shanghai were expats. An Aussie Rules match in America will be different. It'll be broadcast on TV via ABC America and ESPN or Fox and they'll be interest. Interest in Aussie Rules was up in March 2020 with Pat McAfee watching game.

The games in China were broadcasted on free to air across China. Americans won’t have any more interest than the people of China. When Pat McAfee watched it there was no other sport in the world playing, by the Richmond Geelong Grand Final there was not one mention of it on his show because his fans had zero interest.
