Hawthorn FC worst nightmare the 2017 Draft

Hodge is done at the end of this year, he's not the player he was but every game the kids get with him in the back line is worth it's weight in gold for their development
He would probably be banned from being a runner/ on field coach

Honestly hope the Hawks stick it up the Saints and finish above them after all the s**t they spruiked earlier in the year.

Well it was St Kilda. A team who hasn't achieved anything. North have some talented young kids coming through by the way. Nice win against Melbourne. :thumbsu:

So the Hawks finish 9th, we finish 10th and we get our pick 10 back plus pick 9 with the bonus of the 2 picks last draft thrown in. Don't that just break your heart? ;)

Well done on today, should shut the media alarmists up for one week at least :)

Guys you should only be tanking if you can't make the finals...Oh wait...

10th is tanking? What's 12th then? :p

You must call it doing us a favour for giving you Ben McEvoy and taking that hack Savage off your hands I suppose :D

The football world turns its eyes to the Tigers to put to an end this fancy talk of Hawks making the finals.

And with confidence too for the Tigers rarely let you down.

I would of thought a cat would be cheering loudly for the Hawks to make it so that they can be the ones to smash them out of the park and end the dream

Indeed they don't. Usually they'll go above and beyond to produce the most entertaining outcome possible. For this reason, I think they'll let us win. What could be more entertaining for the non-Hawthorn footy world than having us look like we are about to make finals, and then have Bulldogs kick one from a dodgy free after the siren to put them up by a point? Putting us out of our misery this week would show a poor sense of drama, and if there is anything the Tigers understand more than any other club, it is footy drama.
