Reckon that's a chance if Tex doesn't rest, which I doubt he will. Can see Berry in and one or both Taylor and Curtin out or into sub. Draper or Pedlar to come in.
I think they'll rest/drop both Walker and Curtin and either try the forward line with just Fogarty and Thilthorpe, or give Burgess + some mystery player a run.

IMO they should only drop one of Tex and Curtin, if they are bringing in Burgess it means they want to keep the 3 or 4 man tall forward line.
If they are doing that they should let Curtin have a crack at it.
Or drop both and try a different mix and see how it works with just fog and TT.
Giving burgess games now is just a wasted opportunity.

So in other words, look out for Burgess this week

They let Curtin "have a crack at it" against Fremantle in Fogarty's absence and he was a non-entity. He'll have a lot harder time in Walker's absence than Fogarty's.

Equally the club seems entirely unconcerned with his actual output, but probably don't want a complacent player. If you're going to drop a player to keep them sharp, it's generally more effective in a game when they are expecting to pad their stats against a week opponent.

Please not Burgess, as he is not AFL standard.

Would prefer to go in smaller with likes of Pedlar.

You will get inconsistency with younger players.

We need to get games into Curtin & be patient like we have with Fog & TT.

The side was a non entity.

I think Tex misses this week, I dont think Curtin will replace him in that role
Would be a perfect week to try a two-tall forward line approach, with Curtin up the ground.

We won't do it though. Nicks is far too one-dimensional to possibly change a structure.

Why. Why would we bring in Burgess? He's going to be delisted when his contract is up. He's an "everyone else is injured" option.

No he won't, West Coast are balls.

Freo got all fired up for a week and decided to act like a competent football team and we stunk it up. West Coast aren't going to get near that. Probably a good game for Curtin to be in the role actually. Best chance for him to get a bit of it.
