When you sit 2 games clear on top and 3 clear of 3rd every week doesn’t mean make or break. Unfortunately something Carlton fans haven’t experienced for a long long time.
When you come up against the form team of the league it shows where you really sit and Blues still have a few handy players to come in.When you sit 2 games clear on top and 3 clear of 3rd every week doesn’t mean make or break. Were Collingwood at full strength last night? When you sit 2 games clear on top and 3 clear of 3rd every week doesn’t mean make or break. Unfortunately something Carlton fans haven’t experienced for a long long time.
They were missing Bobby Hill from their best 22. We were missing Mckay, Walsh, Kennedy, Williams and Cerra for half the gameWere Collingwood at full strength last night?
Brian Taylor mentioned they were at full strength last night on the broadcast.

3 peat brigade . Winning 1 is miracle and all we have is a shot nothing more. It's a good position to be in, no doubt
But as it stands, you have lost to 3rd, 4th, 5th on the ladder, a kick away 2nd
You are not the Monty some of your supporters think, especially the 3peat brigade
We have clicked, much better all round, but plenty to play out

Changes were brought about because of an in-depth meeting between players and coaches mid year. That’s when everything changed
What went down in that meeting? Must have been significant, because we are a completely different team.Changes were brought about because of an in-depth meeting between players and coaches mid year. That’s when everything changed
If it's the meeting at Ed Curnows place that everyone seems to be talking about, Charlie said on fox last night that there wasn't much talk about footy - more about friendships and goals. He also said there were way too many pizzas eaten. What went down in that meeting? Must have been significant, because we are a completely different team.

he spoke the truths that few dare speakCarlton haven't lost a game since this occurred; clearly this supporter's thoughtful advice was the turning point for this team.
Sounds similar to the meeting had by the Geelong playing group following our loss to North in round 5 2007.Wasn’t the Curnow meeting. Cook brokered it. In summary a heart to heart where players felt standards etc were great but they were being over coached and becoming reactive. Now much simpler and players take game on. Coaches took it in board and adjusted. More to it but that’s it in a nutshell

Brian Cook is the common denominator between the current Carlton side and our side back then.
They could pinch a flag this year ala Bulldogs 2016.Definitely been a calming influence around the place

How’s that popcorn tasting? There’s not enough popcorn at my local Coles for what I’ll need when opening the Carlton board after the Mags pump them next weekend. It’s going to be all time.
Um… to you first point …I do.No serious Carlton fan honestly believes we can win the flag (esp with all our injuries)
But it's sure as **** better place now than where have been not just 6-7 weeks ago, but in the last 10 years.
It actually helps seeing opposition fans start to hate us again instead of pitying us !!!
Also am delighted Michael Voss is proving his haters and detractors wrong.
He has Carlton playing the best, most committed and hard working brand of footy since David Parkin
Um… to you first point …I do.
It’s been done beforeHardy a pinch when we win 14 straight
