Hooker & Hurley shut down the Brisbanes talls in the air (combined 19 marks & 14 rebounds). McStay, Hipwood & McInerney combined for just 4 marks inside 50 and 4 goals between them, from 54 inside 50 entries..

The lack of Brisbane's forward pressure allowed the scums prime skiers to get in to the game.

That's the result right there.

JZ will be competitive up forward, the problem is when Hooker is allowed to roll up and press. This is when the lack of a second ruckman/true KPF will become an issue.

A lot of mixed emotions on here. Too many new faces in the team and you saw what happens, while at the same time we want to get games into those players.

The answer may be to just try and keep our season alive first, and if that looks to be failing then pump all the noobs in. We knew there were going to be tough list decisions this year, if only we had that depth in defense as well.
