That says more about his inability to get separation than anything, IMO.

Neither are world beaters, but I think Cox rucks better and gives the opposition a little more to worry about.
He’s not setting the world on fire but he’s going ok. Gives us a goal a game and provides a target. With JDG back this week, our forward line improves immensely.

True but given the seemingly fragile state of his body the risk of the impact causing injury is higher in his case - sad but his chances of playing in the pressure of finals footy are probably remote
Lol no it doesn’t.

It's funny, people around here always say "oh, of course Buddy comes back for our game" or whatever. I'm in the same boat because it does sometimes feel like that.

Wonder if Freo fans are feeling the same with regards to JDG coming back...
Hope they do feel that and are scared.

He’s a real beast our Jordan.

What part of not fit to play don't you understand?

What part of reading the post I replied to do you not understand ?

The other poster said Reid could go down back when cox returns.

Apology accepted. You’re welcome. If you are going to be arrogant at least know what you are talking about

Actually pretty confident about this one.

We have a pretty strong looking team this week compared to the last month and it's a tad scary that the second half of the year will see us fielding an even stronger side.

Saw a little graphic on Instagram that showed Collingwood again have been hit hardest by injuries of the Top sides lol.

Sensational ins this week, Moore and De Goey so important to our structure. Watched the 2nd half of Freo vs Lions last week, was impressed with some of their young players. But this is a game we have no business losing, or at least we shouldn't.

Their talls are OK - Lobb is a pretty good contested mark and although he'll be in for a dark day running with Grundy he can still be dangerous.

Watching Freo's game last week it seemed obvious they had issues going forward, and their contested ball was nothing even compared to Blues/Saints/Port. Mundy will always put up a good show, Fyfe will do some nice things but still not enough to lift the rest of their side.

They are sorely missing Taberner, not sure why Cam McCarthy is an emergency he would have been a lot handier than Jesse Hogan. Obviously Walters and Hill are the dangerous types.

Thinking:-

Centre Matchups
Pendles -> Langdon
Philips -> Hill
Treloar -> Fyfe (they'll both play off each other anyway)

Defence
Moore -> Cox
Crisp -> Conca
Aish -> Cerra
Howe -> Matera
Roughhead -> Hogan
Maynard -> Walters

Forward
Do. Not. Care. Just keep rotating JDG, Stevo, Reid from FF and keep our forward line on the move to stop the horrible congestion that Lyon likes to cultivate much like a throat infection.

If we do our job and let the 6-6-6 back into play by keeping our ball movement quick then we should get out to a manageable lead.
