Geelong and GWS had winnable games today and both had the positive mindset to gain the four points. WCE to do same tomorrow. Tigers beat Freo in WA with arguably their weakest line up for the year.Pies on home turf with a strengthened side with every thing to play for outplayed and outcoached by a more determined outfit who were not held back by inflated egos. Next week a must win which a premiership contender should capitalize on. Changes for next week. In- Daicos,Sier, Crocker Out-Beams,Varcoe,Thomas Still bemused by our lack of dominance for centre clearances given our strengths are meant to be our ruck and on ball division.

Have to agree. He takes that shot in the last from inside 50 and kicks it we win. How he could instead handball to someone 60 out who isn't a goalkicker and has pressure is ridiculous.

Is Beams carrying an injury? Seemed not to push himself to contests today.
We can’t take a contested mark inside 50 (big forwards)...only JDG can pluck the odd one.
Need Cox back next week.
Many passengers today.
Poor skills, poor decisions, poor game, poor result.
Wait for VFL tomorrow...hopefully Sier, Daics, IQ & Scharenberg have good games.
Sier, Daicos & IQ must be getting close to selection.
A few senior players need a kick in the pants...
A good team would have buried us today.

We need Creative. - Sier
And Dare - Quaynor
And Grunt -Sier, Adams

But neither are knocking down the door or injured.

I'd just play them (the uninjured) anyway.
You think Sier is creative....

Phillips has good endurance, but his kicking is a liability at the moment. One instance was when he had three teammates to pick from just near the centre of the ground, and his pass didnt hit any of them. Freo won possession, and got a goal from the turnover. If we are serious, we would be sending him to the VFL to work on his disposal.

We seriously need to hurry up and move on from Tom Phillips. He may not have had as many turnovers as usual this week but it's honestly like having the Lonie brothers without the footskills running along the wing. Smashed all day by his direct opponents and continually rolling out piss weak efforts at winning contested balls. Bloke is a front runner of the highest echelon

I think in TAC cup footy, he had good running capacity and could get a heap of the footy, but his disposals were below average. Maybe we thought we could correct that part of his game in a professional environment, but it is clearly still a problem. Out of 10 passes, he will hit a target, conservatively 3 times. We have a talanted list, but we lack a couple more good users of the footy. Wells and Pendles are obviously the best, Moore not to bad, Sidey has his moments, maybe Howe and
Quaynor looks a above average kick.
We need to bring in quality users of the footy, to complete the playing list.
Against the Saints, a player like Treloar went at 16% DE, and yesterday may have been worse.

Crocker isn't going to win us games of footy. I would rather keep in Varcoe or Beams, if we were to go down that track. I actually like to see Quaynor debut on QB, if he has another strong VFL performance.

Big game for some of the VFL boys today as a good performance could see a move to the seniors, to early to say who will come in but these players would be nervous.

Aish, Varcoe, Brown, Reid, Aish, Beams, Thomas, Phillips.

I want Cox straight in way to important to our structure.

What i would like to see

OUT: Reid, Aish, Thomas, Beams
IN: Cox, Quaynor, Daicos, Sier.

Time to send a message especially to Beams & Thomas.

On another note boy i had a mini heart attack when Grundy limped off
