It's a nannygai (on the small side but legal) ... not sure what you might call them.

We (not me) caught a much larger one when we went out deep bottom bouncing.

Just kept those, a squid and our 30 whiting.

We only caught 17 squid. It was really windy but calmed off late.

The squid are in the fish scaling bag. The tentacles get a bit tangled up but they're so much easier to clean after a few minutes in the wake.

The sounds like technical stuff I wouldn’t know. Would have been much funnier if you used alpaca as squid burley.

I can see now that at some point it slipped off the water skis, and that as it was getting dark, it wasn’t safe go back and search for it.

Yeah that’s Mrs Yak having a wave

The shower area we built is located to the right in the second photo (out of frame in front of my Ute)

There is a little creek running through there and makes for a little tropical bush setting for the shower.

We planted some citrus trees today which broke up the boredom
