It looks slightly better than I thought it would but I retain my doubts about making a live action version of a show that leans so heavily on over-the-top cartoon weirdness as One Piece.

I'd say 4.5 stars.

Amazing historical film but not what you'd call a blockbuster. Didn't feel like 3 hours as the typical Nolan score maintained that high intensity throughout. Also accessible enough for someone like me to enjoy that's not a scholarly individual.

Epic cast and amazing acting.
